Return, Repair & Warranty Policy – Ameublement Forgues

At Ameublement Forgues, we’re committed to giving our customers peace of mind — through transparency, reliability, and fair value.


✅ 90-Day Forgues Warranty

In Quebec, the legal minimum warranty for used appliances is 30 days. We go further by offering a 90-day warranty on all our refurbished appliances, under the following conditions:

🔄 First 30 Days – Full Coverage

If your appliance experiences any issue within the first 30 days, we will repair or exchange it completely free of charge.

🔧 Days 31 to 90 – Still Covered

From day 31 to day 90, your appliance remains under warranty. However, a $99.95 + tax transportation fee will apply if service or exchange is required at your location.
Your replacement appliance will be delivered within approximately 48–72 hours.


📦 Delivery & Pickup Conditions

  • Delivery Required for Warranty – To benefit from our 90-day warranty, you must use our delivery service. This is strictly due to insurance requirements.

  • No Warranty on In-Store Pickups – Appliances picked up directly from our store are considered final sale and carry no warranty coverage.


📸 “Final Sale” & Cosmetic Condition

In the used appliance industry, the terms “final sale” or “sold as is” are common. At Forgues, this means your appliance may have minor cosmetic imperfections such as small dents or scratches.

To protect yourself and ensure transparency:

  • We strongly encourage you to photograph your appliance at the time of purchase.

  • If your appliance is delivered and you notice a new defect not visible on your original photo, you will be eligible for compensation or an exchange.


❗ Strict Return Policy

We do not offer refunds. Instead, we operate on a value-exchange basis: any issue will be addressed through repair or replacement, depending on the situation.


🆕 Open-Box New Appliances

For open-box new appliances, manufacturer coverage still applies.
These come with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. To access it, you must:

  • Keep your original invoice

  • Note your purchase date

  • Keep the model and serial numbers of the appliance

This information will be required to request manufacturer service or repair.
